How You Can Help

The Alliance for Children’s Mental Health (ACMH) is the only statewide policy and advocacy group in Connecticut that focuses solely on children’s mental health and its overlap with social systems, including education, child welfare, housing, and juvenile justice.

ACMH prioritizes and invests in early intervention and prevention programs, particularly in school. The coalition advocates to maintain and grow effective system integration and care coordination that is family centered.

Most children as well as adults who have a mental health condition will never be arrested. But ACMH continues to work for Juvenile Justice Reform, including increasing mental health services and supports for justice-involved youth.
